DeedMapper Highlights

We've packed the product with all sorts of capabilities! Among them:

• Use DeedMapper's Deed Entry Form to enter "metes and bounds" descriptions of property.
• Many different measurement units and survey methods are supported. Define custom units for length and area.
• Use the Windows clipboard to cut and paste your deed data with other programs such as wordprocessors.
• Import/export graphic files in BMP, TIFF, and JPG format for use with graphic design programs or wordprocessors.
• Use the customizable Table View to create a grantor/grantee index. Export the view in CSV format for use with spreadsheets and databases.
• Export deeds to Google Earth.
• Plotting of deeds is automatic. Plots are closed automatically. Partial plots are created when deed descriptions are incomplete.
• Plots can be rotated to compensate for errors in magnetic declination (compass errors).
• Drag plots with your mouse and drop them on color-coded computer maps of your research area.
• Find neighboring plots by searching the database for deeds containing any phrase you want.
• Use the Deed Filter to display and edit a portion of your deeds, for example, the landowners in a particular year.
• Display each plot's Owner, Corner Descriptions, Line Descriptions, Area, Item Number.
• Fill your parcels with user-selectable colors. Use any of your system's fonts!
• Create hardcopy color printouts of your work at any scale you choose. Get a printout of a large area by printing multiple pages at a time.
