Peter Summy settled in the eastern part of Rowan Co., in present 
day Davidson Co., NC.  [1]


30 Sep 1783 - Peter is mentioned as an inheritor of the estate of 
Conrad Briles, in Randolph Co., NC.  We may therefore assume he 
has married a daughter of Conrad.

23 Jul 1804 - Peter Summy makes his will in Rowan Co., NC.  His 
children (not named) are to have 200 acres on Lick Creek.  wit: 
Nicolas (x) Rolenback, Christian Stokinger.  Executors: son 
Peter, George, Frederick Summy.  Son Jacob is named.  He mentions 
his wife, but doesn't name her.  However, an Elizabeth Summy 
makes her mark below the testator's signature.  This is very 
likely his wife.  Will book D, page 36.  [83]:53
