Richard and wife "Margia" are buried in Dugger Cemetery
in Sullivan Co. Margia's birth is given as 8 Jun 1859 and
she died 26 Apr 1911. [235] Note that the birthdate conflicts
with the census (June 1856), calling into question if this is
the same woman as Margaret in the census. Margaret seems to
have been Sarah Margaret Morton. A young Sarah M. Morton is in
the census of Pike Co., Ind. in 1860 and 1870, but she went by
the name Margaret as an adult.
Their daughter Lula married an Eskew and in 1907 remarried
to William Sloan in Pike Co. The license gives her mother as
Margaret Morton. [238]
