William and Catherine are found in the 1880 census of 
Rhea Co., but without any of the children.  This is a
remarkable oversight by the census people.  William
and the family moved to Texas around the year 1881 and
then he died.  Katherine remarried, but the children
were all on their own by 1900.  In other words, it's
impossible to reconstruct their family from the census
records.

Fannin Co., Tex.
