Ancestry.com's indexing of the Ephraim's death certificate
has the wrong death date. He was buried on March 15, and
therefore died prior to that date. A careful reading of the
death date shows he died on the 14th. It was common to be
buried on the next day. [248]
Ephraim's birth is given as Sep. 6 with year ungiven. His age
is 71. [248] The 1900 census shows his birth as May 1850.
