William and family are found in the censuses of 1861 onward,
living in Morley.
In 1861 there is a Betty Gledhill living with the family, age 66
and a widow. She is listed as a lodger, not William's mother
or other relation.
His occupation is coal miner through the 1881 census, but by
1891 he had shifted gears and was given as an inn keeper. He died
prior to the 1901 census where we find Hannah as a widowed pub keeper
with sons John and Willis in the household among others.
