Elizabeth McCormack is listed in the 1850 census of Lewis Co.,
Mo. At the age of 26 she heads a household of children: Nancy (10),
Sarah (8), and Mary Boling (6), plus William McCormack (3).
All were born in Kentucky save William who was born in Missouri.
What are we to make of this? One might guess that Elizabeth is
a Boling/Bolen and has 3 much younger siblings, plus a son by
her deceased McCormack husband. Alternatively she has been
married and widowed twice, once to a Bolen and once to a McCormack.
In 1860 she and husband Christopher Broyles are in Sullivan Co.,
Mo. Sarah, Mary, and William noted above are in the household.
