17 Sep 1798 - Michael and Elizabeth, of Culpeper Co., sell 150
acres to Zachariah Petty, in Madison and Culpeper Counties,

8 Oct 1800 - Michael certifies that his sister Nancy is 21, for

Broyles 55 acres on Chaplain's Creek, joining John Broyles. This
may mark Alexander's marriage, or their leaving for Indiana.

1840 - Michael Broyles is in the Parke Co., Ind., census.
This is an unexpected listing - there are 3 boys aged 10-20, and
a young girl aged 10-15, as well as Michael and his new wife and
baby daughter. The ages of the teenagers correspond exactly to
the ages of his son John's children, and no 1840 census entry for
John has been located anywhere. [5]89:140
1850 - Michael is listed in the Parke Co., Ind., census.

assign power of attorney to Willis Green Broyles, Michael's
